From the Makers of Bridesmaids and Forgetting Sarah Marshall....we get Jason Segal and Emily Blunt star in the new Romantic Comedy. My look at it is below.
Wow, talk about a short list! The latest Tom Cruise spy drama is the only big release this week. I haven't seen it yet, but I will this week....I'll update as soon as I do. Rottentomatoes.com gives it a robust 93%.
Talk about turning a genre on its ear! Joss Whedon wrote this, and think of it as an appetizer for the Avengers coming in 3 weeks....which he wrote AND directed. Watch my glowing review below!
Cheers!
Greetings folks! Not a banner week for releases....but it does have this year's Oscar Winning Actress!
The Iron Lady-
Meryl Streep's Oscar Winning Performance as 'The Iron Lady", Margaret Thatcher. I wanted more from this movie. It focuses too much on an elderly Thatcher, instead of focusing on her rise to power. Streep though, is something to behold.
The Darkest Hour-
If you're saying "When Did This Come Out?", you're not alone. This came out quietly on Christmas Day, and left theaters soon after. Rottentomatoes.com gives it a low 11% Fresh Rating.
Good Friday! Just so you know where I stand.....I love the first two American Pie films.....3rd one not so much. Was looking forward to the whole cast getting back together this time.......click on the video to see what I think!
Steven Spielberg's Oscar Nominated movie from last Christmas. In my opinion, one of the most mis-marketed films from last year. Despite the commercials and trailers, they never captured what the film was about. It is a wonderful film that I enjoyed quite alot! My original review is below.
We Bought a Zoo-
From Director Cameron Crowe, a film that got lost in the Holiday Movie Avalanche. Starring Matt Damon as a man who's kinda lost, and buys a Zoo. Rottentomatoes.com gives it a 66% Fresh Rating.
