New Skyfall/James Bond Trailer - View on Film

Hey Folks.  Been taking a little time off.  Don't worry, you haven't missed any big video releases in the last two weeks, as the big studios aren't releasing their premium product while the Olympics are going on.

Speaking of the Olympics, James Bond was featured in the Opening Ceremonies...and following on that, here's the new trailer for Skyfall coming this Fall.

Dark Knight Rises - View on Film

Good Monday everyone. 

I delayed posting my "Dark Knight Rises" review for the obvious reasons.  My heart is still heavy for the families and friends of the victims in Aurora, Colorado.  The movie theater is a sanctuary for yours truly, and it saddens me that it was the scene for such cowardice.  My thoughts were with the community of Aurora over the weekend, and I wish them the very best.


On to the film.....it's another triumph for Director/Co-Writer Christopher Nolan.  With the end of his trilogy, it's amazing he's raised a "Comic Book Film" to high art.

New on DVD 7/10/12

American Reunion-

Good Tuesday!  Small pickings this week on DVD, but one I enjoyed.  It was like a reunion, seeing the original cast back since American Pie 2.  Not a great movie, but still plenty of R-Rated fun that only Jim and crew can deliver.  See my original review below.
