New on Video 8/28 - View on Film

Good Tuesday Everyone!

We have 4 big releases this week, so let's get started!

Battleship- 

Poor Taylor Kitsch.  He had to be super stoked about the 2012 movie season.  Starring in two major releases, John Carter and this.  But both underperformed by a long shot.  Rottentomatoes gives this a 34% fresh rating.

Think Like a Man-

The surprise hit from earlier in the year is out on video.  It's based on Steve Harvey's book of the same name.  This got a 54% fresh rating from RottenTomatoes.com.

The Lucky One-

Another one of Nicholas Sparks gets the movie treatment here, and not to the spectacular results of the Notebook and Dear John.  RottenTomatoes gives this a 20% Fresh Rating.

-The Pirates!  Band of Misfits

Possibly the gem of the week.  The creators of the Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit, and Chicken Run, bring you Hugh Grant and a Band of Misfit Pirates.  (Maybe they can help the Island of Misfit Toys!)  RottenTomatoes gives it a good 86% Fresh Rating.
